Classes and Abilities Guide for Goblins in Cataclysm
If you're a Horde fan, than undoubtedly, you will be rolling a Goblin in the Cataclysm expansion. This Goblin guide is aimed at revealing the classes that are available for the Goblin race and racial abilities that will be bestowed on your new green midget character.
Goblin Classes
If you've played WoW before, you would probably already have a favorite class in mind for your Cataclysm character. For me, I like playing as a damage dealer. So, I was thrilled when I discovered this list of Goblin classes that will be available in Cataclysm.
- Death Knight
- Hunter
- Rogue
- Priest
- Shaman
- Mage
- Warlock
I think a Goblin shaman will be a sight to behold. The totems would probably be the same height of these little green creatures in the game. As for me, my first pick will be a damage dealing Elemental Shaman.

Goblin Abilities
Goblins will receive five racial abilities and they look very interesting!
- They will get the "Best Deals Anywhere". This means that your goblin character will always get goods at a discount regardless of which faction you're buying from.
- Your goblin's skill in the Alchemy profession will be increased by 15. This is pretty nice especially if the class you pick is also a spellcaster (like a Shaman or Mage). Potions provide very good buffs for spellcaster classes.
- You will get an ability called "Rocket Barrage". If you're going to be a damage dealer or tank, this additional ability will come in useful.
- Next Goblins will be able to "Rocket Jump" which reminds me of the good old days of playing Quake. This ability will help you to jump forward, so I'm already planning to use this when I pick up the Herbalism gathering profession.
- Last but not least, "Time is Money" is a wonderful ability that increases your attack and casting speed by 1%. This is an excellent ability to have for leveling or PvP.
In summary, the Goblin race is a new and exciting addition to the WoW family of races. With these new and fun abilities, I know I will be enjoying hours of playing WoW again.
