How to Fight & Win Koralon the Flame Watcher in the Vault of Archavon

Here you will find some simple steps on how to fight and win Koralon in the Vault of Archavon. As soon as the battle starts, Koralon will immediately begin stacking Burning Fury, this is a soft enrage that will continue throughout the fight, basically every stack he will cause more and more damage by 5% every 20 seconds. He does not have an enrage timer, just the stacking damage buff.

Tanks
There will be two tanks as usual. The main tank will hold agro of the boss the entire fight, the off tanks is there only to absorb the damage of the bosses Meteor Fist. It is possible for 1 tank to do this but he will have to be very well geared and get epic heals. During the fight the tank will have to watch out for the pools of fire that Kora throws down around him. If too much is behind him it will be hard for melee to attack him. So ideally you will want to only move him if there is too much aoe fire around him. Some people like to just keep kiting him around the room but that isn't really needed.

Ranged
Easy fight for ranged, just down the boss, make sure you are behind him if the tank is kiting a lot, and move out of the way if the boss throws some aoe fire under you. Easy as pie.

Melee
This is basically a tank and spank for you for the most part; you just have to STAY OUT OF THE FIRE. It's the mantra of this fight. The fire does a ton of damage, but the worst part is if you are standing in fire when the boss does Burning Breath. That is a raid-wide aoe damage that does quite a bit, if you are also standing in fire it usually means death.

Healers
This is pretty healing intensive so it's good to have 3 healers if you are unsure about your abilities. Everyone will be taking spike damage so you will have to be on your toes for those who fail to not be in the fire.

Another thing to note is that fire resist abilities like Fire Resist Aura and Fire Resist Totems do indeed help out with this fight.
