Published on by makro

Many of World of Warcraft players want to know the best WoW cataclysm dungeon locations for a number of reasons. Of course when you are looking at the locations you will have to keep in mind a number of things. For example, the level of the dungeon and the physical location.

Having some knowledge about WoW cataclysm is the best place to start when looking at dungeon locations. Set to be released in December 2010 cataclysm is the 3rd expansion in the game World of Warcraft. The 2 continents of Azeroth are the setting for the campaigning completed in this particular expansion. Some new zones have also been opened with cataclysm.

The number of dungeons in this expansion is not as large as previous expansions. There are in fact only 7 new dungeons available to players. Even though this is the case the dungeons are going to be properly challenging for all the players.

All of the new dungeons will have two difficulty levels to them. One will be a regular mode and the other is a heroic mode. Heroic content is only available after level 85 in these dungeons. Also found in this expansion are heroic levels for 2 dungeons that are in the game already.

Shadowfang keep in Silverpine forest and the Deadmines in Westfall are the two dungeons which are going to have heroic levels added. All the new dungeons will have a range of difficulty levels from 80 up to 85. The Throne of Tides and the Blackrock Caverns are dungeons with a level of 80 to 81. The Stonecore and the Vortex Pinnacle are the dungeons with a level of 82 to 84. Grim Batol, the Lost City of the Tol'vir and the Halls of Origination are dungeons with a level of 85.

Having the knowledge of the dungeons is of little help without the actual location of them. Inside the Abyssal Maw in the Abyssal Depths of Vashj'ir is the location of the Throne of Tides. The Blackrock Mountains by the entrance to Blackrock Spire is the location of the Blackrock caverns. Above the Throne of Earth in Deepholm is the location of the Stonecore. Above the southern sea of Uldum in the Skywall is the location of the Vortex Pinnacle. In the Twilight Highlands in the hills which overlook the Wetlands is the location of Grim Batol. The center of Uldum is the location of the Lost City of the Tol'vir and it is an outdoor dungeon. In the large eastern temple in Uldum is the location of the Halls of Origination.

As you need to be at the dungeon so that you can queue for it having some idea of the best WoW cataclysm dungeon locations is important. This is good for both regular and heroic mode players.
